Hello Everyone
I wanted to let you know, that in the next couple of days the Department of Education will post an Addendum to the ESEA Flexibility Frequently Asked Questions. This addendum, which is attached, provides guidance on several issues, including adequate yearly progress (AYP) determinations, the interplay between our School Improvement Grants (SIG) program and ESEA Flexibility, and subgroup performance with respect to high school graduation rates. In particular the addendum revises the August 3, 2012 ESEA Flexibility Frequently Asked Questions document (available at: http://www2.ed.gov/policy/eseaflex/esea-flexibility-faqs.doc) by modifying B-11 and by adding: B-11b, B-11c, B-23a, B-26, C-18b, C-20a, C-34b, C-34c, C-34d, C-35a, C-39a, C-41a, C-41b, C-41c, C-43a, C-43b, C-43c, C-43d, C-48b, F-1, F-2, F-3, and F-4. The Department will incorporate these new questions into the complete guidance document and post that revised guidance document on the ESEA flexibility Web page in the coming weeks. In addition, please note that B-23a, C-35a, C-39a, C-43a, C-43b, C-43c, and C-43d will also be published as an addendum to the Department’s Non-Regulatory Guidance for the School Improvement Grants (SIG) program.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thank-you
