Dear Title III State Directors,

We have identified ten States for Title III monitoring for the 2013-2014 school year: Arizona, Iowa, Georgia, West Virginia, Illinois, New Mexico, Utah, South Dakota, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.

These States were selected based on a number of factors including the last time the State was monitored,  the number of findings in the last program review, appointment of a new Title III State Director, and size of Title III allocation.   Attached to this email are the Title III indicators and Title III Pre-Visit Document List.  The Education Program Specialist assigned to each State will follow up with the State’s Title III director to begin planning the review.
